Sangamam Health Complex was established in the year 1979 in Kottayam, Kerala. During the practice as Assistant Medical Officer in District Hospital, Kottayam, Dr Abraham was convinced about the inability of Modern Medicine in offering a complete cure to the victims of Asthma and other chronic diseases. He identified the healing power of Complementary therapies and acquired proficiency in them. This revelation forced him to quit the government job and commence his own methodology, the Complementary Medicine. Thus Sangamam Kottayam centre was come into being.
